General Observations
Pyrus and Zera appear to be physically aging
as the series progresses: Zera's tusks get slightly larger and Pyrus's
"ear-spines" become more distinct as you go through the episodes. [pointed
out by Clearsky]
The pupils of the Ice people's eyes have tiny
facets, like an insect's eyes. (Look carefully during a closeup, you'll
see 'em.)
Each planet in the Cluster has a distinctly
different writing system:
Rock: Letters made up of narrow oval shapes
Ice: Mostly triangular shapes
Fire: Ornate script, looks sort of like Arabic
writing
Bone: Unknown--haven't seen any samples of
it yet
Aside from Jade, we have seen only two female
soldiers, both of whom are from Planet Rock.
Behold the Beast
v 1.1
Planet Tek is in a binary star system.
Trendmasters logos on Tekla's neck and the
king's forehead.
On the Rocks
v 1.2
The right arm of Lord Mantel's throne is worn
down from his constantly pounding on it. At one point in the episode, you
can actually see rock chips falling off.
Born In Fire
v 1.3
When Zera says, "Please, father, you can't!",
the front part of her hair is missing. (oops!)
Bad to the Bone
v 1.4
When Cryos says his first line in this ep
("I have an open channel to Planet Bone..."), his head isn't properly attatched
to his neck. (oops!)
The background music during Femur's flashy
entrance sounds suspiciously like the opening bars of "It's Not Unusual"
by Tom Jones.
In the scene right after the Alliance members'
initial escape, Pelvus's eyes are black and white instead of the usual
red and gold. (oops!)
When springing Pyrus in the corridor, one
of the hidden bone soldiers sinks down into the side moat like the good
Terminator at the end of T2. [pointed out by WizardWOR]
Wolf In the Fold
v 1.5
The guy who eventually becomes king of Ice
is at the first council meeting, standing in the background behind Cryos.
MindWar
v 1.6
Pelvus laughing his butt off in the background
while Tekla/Lamprey is beating up Femur.
J'Acusse v 1.7
Yellow crime scene tape strung across the entrance to
the alley (with, presumably, "Police Line Do Not Cross" written in Fire
writing).
Blood Is Thicker... v 1.8
Femur's first line in this episode is the same as his
last line in the previous one. The same sound recording was used for both.
Cryos is not carrying his scepter at any point during
the episode.
Femur stopping to catch his breath after coming down
a flight of stairs.
Rock and Ruin v 1.9
This is the only ep where Pyrus's hair actually acts
like a light source; you can see a flickering orange glow cast on whatever
he's standing next to. (In other episodes, Pyrus's hair glows but doesn't
actually illuminate anything.)
Voxx hacking into the Battle-Moon computer looks remarkably
like R2D2 hacking into the Cloud City computers in TESB.
Against All Odds v
1.10
The features of Remora's terrain suggest that it once
supported life. For example, the canyon which Pyrus and Zera walk through
was clearly a riverbed at some point (note the rounded rocks and the ripple
marks on the ground).
Uneasy Hangs the Head
v 1.11
Pyrus slicking back his 'hair' as he talks to Graveheart.
[pointed out by Clearsky]
Mica may be voiced by Paul Dobson's real-life brother
[have to check this with Mairi].
Ragnarok: Part 1 v
1.12
[none yet]
Ragnarok: Part 2 v
1.13
Whole episode seems heavily derived from the attack
on the original Death Star in SW:ANH.
Blokk starts 'jittering' again at the end of the episode.
Worlds Within Worlds
v 2.1
[none yet]
This is the Way the World
Ends... v 2.2
One of the people being evacuated from Fire is the same
guy who was killed by Lamprey in "J'Acusse." (The shopkeeper and veiled
woman are there too.)
Period of Adjustment
v 2.3
Animation goof (sort of): In the final shot of the Alliance
members throwing lichen at Femur, they're just going through throwing motions
without picking up anything first.
Blaze of Glory v 2.4
[none yet]
Sandstorm v 2.5
[none yet]
Girls' Night Out v
2.6
This is the only episode where King Cryos does not appear.
[Okay, so I'm a Cryos fanatic. So sue me. --C.C.]
How are the Quarriors supposed to take a drink if they
keep their helmets on in the bar?
A critter like the ones that attacked Femur in "Period
of Adjustment" is mounted on the wall in the game room.
One of the Igneous Knights takes a bite out of a billiard
ball as if it were an apple.
Time Bomb v 2.7
[none yet]
Embers of the Past
v 2.8
[none yet]
Divided We Stand v
2.9
Graveheart is wearing a Quarrior's uniform in the dream
sequence.
The pupils of Jewelia's eyes are cross-shaped.
The pupils of Sternum's eyes are round, while Femur
and Pelvus have slit "cat's-eye" pupils.
Nor Iron Bars a Cage
v 2.10
[none yet]
Death of a King v
2.11
Jade somehow goes from being in full armor at the end
of the previous episode to being out of uniform at the start of this one.
(oops!)
The Long Road Home
v 2.12
[none yet]
Ascension v 2.13
*Speculation*: That wasn't Mantel's body under the cloth. In all the Beast-related deaths we've seen (from either being shot by a Beast Drone or directly touching null matter), there was no corpse left behind; there's no reason to think Lord Mantel's case was any different. The "body" that Graveheart burned during the public ceremony was probably
just an empty suit of armor.
